He began his legal career with the Legal Aid Society and subsequently served as a court attorney to the Honorable Leslie Crocker Snyder. Appointed February 2008. from Boston University School of Law. Prior to her appointment, Judge Thompson was the Bureau Chief of the Special Victims Bureau at the Richmond County District Attorneys Office, where she served for the past ten and a half years in both the Special Victims Bureau and Criminal Court Bureau.
